Rabobank has an opening for a WHS & Return to Work Coordinator. This role reports to the Senior Manager - Work, Health & Safety & is structured within Rabobank’s Shared Services department. You will join a highly engaged team based in Sydney who work a hybrid mix of in the Sydney CBD office & home.
This is a national role supporting over 1500 employees in branches & offices across Australia, however, most interactions will be within the Sydney metropolitan area.
As WHS & Return to Work Coordinator, you will influence a safety-first mindset for Rabobank. You will coordinate injury management, workers compensation & health & safety practices for Rabobank.
Top Role Accountabilities:
- Act as a champion for workplace safety & help drive a culture of accountability for health, safety & wellbeing
- Manage work & non-work-related illness or injury employee cases & provide proactive support
- Provide proactive coaching, guidance & advice to people leaders to support Return to Work outcomes as well as employee safety & wellbeing generally
- Manage workers compensation claims & non-work-related illness or injury to ensure successful return &/or recovery at work
- Manage WHS investigations in a timely & proactive manner
- Complete WHS Risk Assessments as required
- Support a program that uplifts reporting of incidents & hazards across the business
- Support the monitoring & review of the WHS Management System & the review of trends in incident & hazards data to identify & address emerging WHS risks
- Support employee consultation on matters affecting health & safety, with a focus on injury prevention
- Develop & deliver WHS initiatives, procedures, work practices & projects to support the WHS Management System & WHS team
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- WHS qualifications including Workcover or SIRA RTW Accreditation
- 3 years + experience in a RTW, Workers Compensation, or WHS role
- Experience in managing workers compensation & injury management for a national organisation
- Working knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations & standards for each state & territory within Australia
- An ability to liaise, advise & negotiate effectively with key stakeholders including management, employees, & external providers
- Problem solving skills & the ability to develop solutions to barriers to recovery at work
