Ramcorp are a privately owned civil construction and underground mining company supplying various related equipment and labour services throughout the country.
On behalf of our client who is a leader in the commercial glazing sector, we are currently seeking applications for Window Installers / site-based Trade Assistants. With an increasing workload across a range of commercial projects based in the Launceston region, we’re looking for candidates that display high quality workmanship, a can-do attitude and who are reliable.
Duties Include:
- Installation of windows and doors based on specific site instructions – ensuring quality standards are met.
- On-site labouring as required (assisting trades personnel).
- Perform prescribed tasks whilst maintaining a 100% commitment to workplace health & safety.
- Working within a team or autonomously as required.
- Use of hand and power tools on-site.
- Other duties as required by Supervisors.
To be considered for these roles you require the following skills, attributes, and certifications:
- White Card
- Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
- EWP and Working at Heights (desirable)
- Working with Vulnerable Peoples Card (desirable)
- Own tools (incl. drill, rattler, mallet, files & measuring tape) (desirable)
- Previous site-based works - advantageous
- High attention to detail
- Previous experience working with glass, windows or aluminium products
- Previous experience performing metal work / fabrication
- Be physically fit
- Be available for an immediate start
