About the engagement:
Green Light has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic CISCO wireless Engineer to join one of our IT clients for one of their customers.
About the role:
The Wireless Network Engineer is pivotal within the Network, Design and Engineering team, focusing on the design, integration, commissioning, and support of multi-vendor Wireless network solutions, including Wi-Fi, Starlink, LAN/WAN integrations and emerging wireless solutions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.
- Contribute to the high- and low-level design.
- Configure, implement, execute and maintain wireless infrastructure.
- Assist with change management, quality of control and development of proof of concepts.
- Configure environment for pilot sites.
- Assist with the designs of build and test activities.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Interact with the vendors and 3rd parties for critical changes.
What would make you a good fit for this role?
- 8-10 years as Cisco Wireless Network engineer
- In-depth knowledge of Wireless networking technologies
- Experience with designing, implementing, and managing Wireless networks.
- Experience with below mentioned tools and technologies –
- Cisco wired and wireless.
- 11x corporate wifi
- Cisco WLC, Cisco WAP, Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE
- ZScaler
- Ekahau for wireless surveys
- SDWAN
- Having knowledge and experience across Python for automation and DNAC would be an added advantage.
