They’re looking for an experienced WordPress Lead to join their team and drive efficient and effective marketing campaign production through the creation of quality WordPress websites and landing pages. If you want to not only lead your function but also define, iterate and deliver best practice standards and processes - then you’ve come to the right place.
How will you have an impact?
As WordPress Lead, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Eightcap’s online presence, driving traffic, and ultimately, maximising conversions. You will not only create, optimise, and maintain responsive and compatible WordPress websites and landing pages. You will also customise and create themes, plugins and templates, implement SEO best practices, create and implement processes to improve monitoring, security and user experience, and stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
Leading the Wordpress charge here in the Melbourne office within the Marketing Operations team, your combination of technical proficiency and creative insight will allow you to identify opportunities to continuously improve and innovate on Eightcap’s online performance and ensure all web assets align with brand objectives and effectively engage their target audience.
Who we’re looking for
- Advanced WordPress knowledge and at least 4 years experience as a WordPress developer
- Experience implementing SEO and broader web optimisation
- Experience in JavaScript and PHP
- Proactive and independent mindset
- Bonus points for:
- Experience with a landing page platform (E.g Unbounce)
- An interest in or personal experience in trading, FX or general finance
This is a full time permanent position within their Melbourne team, working 4 days from their top of the line CBD office and 1 day from home. This is no snoozy office though - the vibe here is truly buzzing, with heaps of social activity and meaningful collaboration across teams.
