We are one of the leading Speech Pathology private practices in Perth, with a busy caseload and four Speech Therapists servicing an adult clientele. We are based in Shenton Park, Western Australia, but service clients throughout Australia. We have a great reputation, and are referred to by some of the leading medical specialists in Perth, including ENTs, Neurologists and Respiratory Physicians.
We are seeking an experienced Administration Manager / Scheduler on a part-time basis - for up to 16 hours per week. This role will be working from Home/remote - there is no requirement to come into our clinic and you will be able to Work from anywhere in Australia.
What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for managing the scheduling of clients for our busy Allied Health Practice with 4 Speech Pathologists including:
- Organising client bookings
- Managing the NDIS responsibilities of our practice, including writing and managing NDIS Service Agreements
- Be at the front line of customer service
- Work with Plan Managers and Support Coordinators to coordinate funding and supports
- Maintaining and Optimising the schedules of 4 Speech Pathologists
- Answering phones and maintaining communication with our clients
- Managing client intake
What we need from you
We anticipate that you will have experience providing administrative support and customer service for an allied health provider or other health care business. Experience with an NDIS caseload will be valuable and you will be comfortable using technology to efficiently support our business. You will also:
- Be experienced in Halaxy practice management software (or similar)
- Have good skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Have good written and verbal communications skills
- Have a great phone manner with a caring personality
- Be highly organised and able to work well under pressure
- Have access to a quiet work location where you can work without disruptions
- Have reliable and high quality access to the internet
You will be working from Home - in fact from anywhere in Australia! We have high-tech tools to help run our business, including a practice management portal, online booking site, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Microsoft Stream Video portal and a virtual phone system allowing you to Work from anywhere.
Although we have specific times we will need you to work, your working hours can be negotiated to some degree around your own schedule.
