We're seeking a Workflow Systems Analyst to join our team on a 12 month contract. You'll focusing on understanding, building, delivering, and supporting workflow tools for our business and clients.
As Workflow Systems Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand their requirements and assist in translating these into system configurations.
- Shaping and signing off on analysis deliverables, such as wireframes, user stories, use cases, conceptual data models, and other configuration artifacts.
- Utilizing strong planning and organization skills to ensure effective project delivery.
- Designing and configuring Application Technology solutions to meet specific business and client needs, and to address broader market opportunities. This includes data capture formats, workflows, portal definitions, forms, portal and report templates, and reusable content blocks across documents.
- Conducting functional testing of all delivered components.
- Supporting and, when necessary, leading change management activities, including transition management, process support, user training, and communications & engagement.
The solutions will be built using various tools, including but not limited to:
- ShareDo
- Low/no-code configuration tools, including visual modelling/workflow drag & drop tools
- Lower-level coding (e.g., SQL for reporting)
- Power Platforms and SharePoint
- Data analysis using Excel, coding, occasional data migrations, and testing
- Moderate complexity template work (e.g., Word templates)
- Development of reports using tools such as SQL/PowerBI
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Proficiency in designing and describing workflows and data constructs, using diagramming tools like Visio or Lucid Charts to visually represent solutions (process flows, data formats/schema, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort in a business-facing role.
- Familiarity with an agile delivery environment.
- Knowledge of workflow and experience with workflow tools (e.g., K2 or other).
- Technical competence with Excel and Word.
- A minimum of 5 years of technology experience ideally in a professional services or related industry.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proficiency with SQL or experience with at least one major RDBMS (PGSQL/ MS SQL/ MySQL).
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams spanning technology and front-line operations.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience.
- Experience delivering technical solutions within tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail, with the ability to step back from the detail to identify problems, opportunities, and trends.
- Strong creative and analytical ability, coupled with sound judgement to balance multiple factors and solve complex problems.
Desirable attributes include:
- Experience working as a BA/Technical BA.
- Prior experience with ShareDo or other workflow management solutions.
- Experience with Power Platforms and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Javascript).
- Familiarity with using popular API protocols, including REST/ JSON and SOAP.
