Your new team
TasMetering is a Tasmanian focused business of the Intellihub Group, located in Hobart, supporting the largest electricity retailer in Tasmania for advanced metering services. The field operations team is a key part of the TasMetering team to deploy and support advanced electricity meters.
Your new role
The Workforce Planner works in conjunction with the Customer Operations, Data Operations, and Operational Excellence teams to contribute towards the TasMetering objectives of deploying and operating the largest Smart Meter fleet in Tasmania. Your experience in workforce planning and forecasting will assist to ensure efficient operational performance of the field delivery partners and enable effective forecasting engagement with the customer.
- Operating the TasMetering field meter deployment forecast with Retailers and Field Service Delivery partners.
- Monitoring & managing the Field Operations enquiry queue (Level 2 Service Desk).
- Responsible for timely response and resolution of Level 2 Field Operations Service Desk enquiries.
- Managing meter exchange escalations for Retailer Led Rollout and Customer Requested Works.
- Responsible for timely response and resolution of Field Delivery Partner enquiries and requests.
- Management of Level 2 Service Desk escalated service off supply and compliance issues.
- Ensure Field service assurance and Field service enquires are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
- Act as Subject Matter Experts in field operations process development and operational excellence improvements.
- Follow business processes, systems, and work closely with key internal teams to ensure agreed SLAs and OLAs can be delivered.
- Support the TasMetering operational excellence and continuous improvement culture.
- Support TasMetering engagement and integration with the wider Intellihub group.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment and contribute to continual improvement in quality and performance at Intellihub by complying with all relevant policies and procedures
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, or similar, are highly desirable.
- Proven experience of workforce planning experience within a utility high volume deployment environment, from either telecommunications, energy, or comparable operational environment.
- High level of analytical skills.
- High level of stakeholder engagement experience.
- Intermediate level of facilitation skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of excel and other Microsoft 365 applications skills.
- Ability to follow processes, including managing escalations and exceptions from inception to resolution.
- Experience in working within a continuous improvement environment.
