The purpose of this role is to lead a team of resource managers who manage supply and demand across a Service Line or within a certain discipline. They have accountability for executing strategies to meet resourcing needs for our client and functional teams. They will partner and collaborate with growth, HR, finance, operations and talent acquisition to staff teams timely and ensure excellence in client delivery.

Due to growth, we are on the lookout for a Workforce Planning Partner to join our team based in Melbourne. Reporting to the COO, you will partner with the wider APAC Workforce Planning & Resource Management teams to support the implementation and operational execution of a workforce planning framework and time and attendance systems.

What your typical day will look like:
Analyse pipelines, modelling current and future forecast, managing capacity, generating sourcing plans, scheduling work and triaging the recruitment process
Report on utilization metrics, ensuring the most effective use of our workforce to support well resourced teams and projects
Briefing onshore and offeshore recruitment teams to ensure proactive attraction and sourcing strategies are in play to provide support when needed
Producing strategic and tactical forecasting to ensure accurate scheduling of resources to meet seasonal workload demand
Attending any planning meetings to forward forecast new resource requirements on clients or new business opportunities
Conducting variance analysis with a view to continuously improve the resource planning process
Actively promoting, pursuing, and living dentsu’s vision & values

A bit about you:
3+ Years experience in resource planning, having worked within complex or multifaceted companies, with a keen interest to expand into a media or a digital agency is highly desirable
Strong commercial acumen, forecasting, analysis and budgeting skills
High developed problem solving skills combined with a good risk lens and attention to detail
Ability to influence and build long-term relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
Experience in using workforce planning technologies and time and attendance software
Strong operational and implementation abilities, happy to lead a national framework and support in building out a new function
