Bis Industries is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at the Tomago, NSW workshop facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrical repairs and maintenance on underground mining equipment and various mobile plants. As a Workshop Electrician, you will conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to ensure the seamless operation of equipment. Your duties will include reading and modifying electrical schematics, as well as performing basic programming or parameter changes on electrical components. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel will be essential for documenting and reporting your work.
The successful applicant will possess:
- Current NSW Qualified Supervisors Electrical License or NSW Electrical Contractors License
- EEHA Qualification
- AS3800 Qualification - Desirable
- Current driver’s license.
- Senior First Aid Course & CPR
- Low Voltage Rescue Training
- Trained in basic isolations procedures
