Due to new projects being awarded, we have a permanent, Full Time opportunity for a skilled Workshop Industrial Blaster. If you're an Industrial Blasting specialist, looking to partner with an organisation with a drive for safety and work / life balance, then we want to hear from you!
What's involved?
- Workshop based industrial blasting of mining equipment and other plant from the utilities sector, as well as power generation and renewables.
- Occasional painting duties
- Workshop cleanliness and safety behaviours
- Use of forklift and yard duties
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years experience industrial blasting
- Must have a forklift licence
- Experience in heavy / engineering workshops highly regarded
- Dogging ticket highly regarded
- Genuine commitment to safety
- Excellent work references that can support your application
What we can offer you:
- Full time, permanent position
- Competitive hourly rate with a forecasted increase before Christmas
- Lifestyle roster of 4 x 10 hour days Monday - Thursday - Day Shift
- This includes a paid lunch break accruing 2 hours of OT minimum per week
- Optional overtime on Friday
