About your new role
We are seeking a highly organised and driven Workshop Manager to join the CFS Brisbane branch based in Carole Park, Qld. The person coming onboard will align with our values of Safety First, Do the Right Thing, Teamwork and Be the Best.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of the Workshop with an emphasis on People, safety, customer service, quality, and productivity.
The successful candidate may have previously worked in roles such as Supervisor of 10 + ppl, Field Coordinator, Manager, Hydraulic Technician or Project Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the Workshop, Field Service and Manufacturing teams to ensure the effective delivery of service for all external and internal sources.
- Manage and maintain appropriate resource levels, including staffing, training of technicians and mechanical fitters, vehicle allocation, and parts.
- Oversee the scheduling system and associated processes to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee the administrative team to ensure high levels of customer service are provided with prompt quotation and job management.
- Monitor service request queues and prioritize jobs based on urgency and customer requirements.
- Assess staffing requirements and collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, field service and workshop fitters and technicians to meet service demands.
- Assist with raising leaders in your team to grow with the company, including ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance reviews.
- Support the Hydraulic specialist to develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of technicians and trade staff.
- Be a positive brand campaigner for Cooper Fluid Systems and our suppliers.
To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record of building and leading a high performing team. Additionally, you will have:
- Exceptional interpersonal, customer relationship and communication skills.
- The ability to manage the planning, organising and coordination of multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices.
- Strong computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office programs.
