The Role:
As part of our Service Team, the Workshop Mechanic is responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance services. These tasks include pre-delivery, planned maintenance, repairs and service to the WFL forklift fleet and customer owned equipment. All work is expected to be completed in accordance with company quality standards, with timely and accurate completion of associated paperwork. You will be expected to work safely within company and statutory WH&S requirements.

The Right Person for the Role:
The successful candidate must be an individual who is experienced and skilled in their trade, enjoys a challenge, and prides themself on a professional approach whilst possessing a positive attitude.
Specifically you display the following:
- Mechanical trade qualification preferred
- Strong knowledge of machinery, forklifts or construction equipment highly regarded, but not essential
- The ability to show initiative and strong problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Demonstrated ability to be reliable & punctual
- Willingness to be an integral part of the team and work autonomously when required
- A willingness to learn new skills and attend further training if required
- Partial completion of a mechanical apprenticeship may also be considered, with opportunity to complete qualification with our company
