We’ve partnered with one of the country’s leading rail operators, to supply them with a group of safety focused and analytical Yard Controllers located in Brisbane, QLD. You will be responsible for ensuring that trains run to schedule in multiple national locations, and maintaining key communication with network providers, maintenance providers, customers, power facilities, train crew, and regional operational managers.

At RTS you’ll be part of a national organisation with a local feel, be supported by Managers that lead from the front, and work alongside likeminded team members that want to succeed. In addition, you can expect to receive:
- Fixed Term Full time employment
- 5 weeks Annual leave
- Shift length up to 12-hours on a rotating roster, 24/7 operation
- 5 weeks initial training in Brisbane, consisting of extensive accredited and enterprise training relevant to the role requirements.

About you:
It all sounds great doesn’t it, so what do we expect of you? In addition to sharing our values of Safety, Integrity, People and Excellence you will also demonstrate:
- Experience in heavy industry/transport (desirable)
- Strong computer skills and ability to read/interpret graphs
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
- High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong safety and quality mind-set
- Ability to pass a rail CAT 2 medical, and ongoing drug and alcohol screens
- Strong safety and quality mind-set
- Current C Class or higher Driver’s License
- Ability to complete a National Police Clearance
