Form of workToms Heavy Haulage is currently seeking a Depo Yard (handy) Person to join our Team, holding a HR drivers License &/0r Forklift License.
We are a busy owner-operated transport company based in Gillman operating for over 20 years. Our fleet consists of over 30 trucks including Tilt Trays, Prime Movers, and Low Loaders. We specialise in transporting all types of equipment and heavy machinery across Adelaide and Interstate.
The Position of YARD HAND will include varying duties around our Depo and may include but not limited to:
- Keeping the yard tidy and in order.
- Assist our on-site Mechanic as required.
- Collection of items from suppliers for the Yard and Mechanic.
- Washing trucks and Trailers.
- Mowing lawns or weeding as required.
- Moving Trucks around depo.
- Re-Fueling trucks if required
- Operating Forklift to move items.
- Repair damages/ broken items as required.
- All round Handyperson.
This position is FULLTIME and ready for an immediate start for the right person.
- Hold a HR license and have experience working Trucks.
- Hold a Forklift License, preferable
- Able to demonstrate a highly motivated attitude.
- All rounder
- Able to obtain a Police Clearance
