Yard Operator / Relief Driver

De Bruyn’s Transport, a proud TruckSafe Accredited Business, currently has a vacancy in our Burnie Depot for a Yard Operator / Relief Driver. 

Our red and green vehicles can be seen everywhere in Tasmania and, with our footprint including Melbourne and inter-state linkages, opportunities are extensive.  In fact, imagine working for a business with over 300 employees and Depots throughout Tasmania. Our freight and customer base is extensive and expanding.

This permanent, full time position will involve the individual undertaking all aspects of Yard Operation tasks including Loading and Unloading Vehicles and Containers, Freight Consolidation and Forklift Operations. 

An MR Licence is also a requirement of this position as the successful applicant will be required to undertake occasional deliveries within the Burnie area.

The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to participate in Nationally Accredited Training. 

The successful candidate must have the following: 

• MR Licence (Essential)
• Forklift Licence (Essential)
• Positive Attitude
• Punctuality, Responsibility and Reliability
• High Levels of Honesty and Truthfulness
• Great work ethic with excellent attention to detail
