Form of workElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
Who you are:
SecureEnergy has an exciting opportunity for multiple experienced Telehandler Operators / Yardman to join the project in our Logistics team.
The role will be operating 5&7T Telehandler and 3.5-16T Forklifts to load and unload trucks with construction material.
This role will be on a drive in, drive out basis to Deniliquin, NSW working on a 3/1 roster (21 days on, 7 days off) with accommodation provided.
What you will bring to the team:
- Current Construction Whitecard
- CN Crane and LF Forklift License
- 3+ years experience in similar role
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Physically fit with the ability to do physical labour tasks
- Hand and power tools experience
- MC Drivers license preferred but not essential
