About the role -

At BCE our teachers are required to:

• Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
• Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

About our school: St Ritas is a Catholic co-educational school for primary students from Prep to Year 6. Our school is located in the Redlands bayside suburb of Victoria Point in a pleasing physical environment of landscaped grounds and modern learning and teaching spaces. As a Catholic parish school we promote a welcoming and vibrant community where respectful and positive relationships are fostered with our parents, carers and the St Ritas parish community. Do I have to be Catholic?

If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.
Yes, for primary and Religious Education teachers.  Regarding a pathway to become Catholic, some employees opt to undertake the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults).  We support all teachers with Accreditation to Teach pathways after you start with us.
