Ahead of the expansion of our Transition to Work program we’re looking for a Fast paced and enthusiastic Youth Recruitment Consultants to join Jobs Statewide's expanding team.
About the Role
Our proven model provides a continuum of support for employers and youth job seekers aged 15-24 builds trust and sets expectations.
- Engaging local employers to understand their needs
- Using established employer networks to promote transferable & recently gained skillsets
- Placing appropriately trained young people into positions
- Managing a portfolio of employer vacancy’s
- Building new and pre-existing employer relationships that generate repeat business
- Conducting one-on-one coaching. This approach recognises a young person’s existing skills, defining them by their future aspiration
- Co-designing a young person’s career roadmap, agreeing on goals and timeframes to develop skills and gain meaningful employment
- Building relationships with community organisations and local stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have passion or experience in working with young people from a variety of different backgrounds
- Be a results driven and disciplined individual with a high level of initiative – experience in sales, retail, or travel highly regarded
- Have the ability to work in an autonomous environment
- Satisfy a pre-employment check including a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check
- Hold appropriate qualifications in a youth related, business development, or humanities field (desirable)
