About the Role
The core responsibilities include:
- Engage key partners and stakeholders to facilitate services from the hub for young people in a range of services, activities and programs which improve their health and wellbeing.
- Support young people and their families to access safe, inclusive and supported programs and services.
- Daily running of hub operations, room bookings, systems and processes
- Increase collaboration and cooperation between services and other stakeholders including opportunities for secondary consultations and resource sharing, resulting in better outcomes for vulnerable young people.
- Coordinate and chair the hub steering committee and oversee the governance model.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in facility management and the provision of a safe and engaging community space for young people
- Significant experience in working collaboratively with the youth sector, young people and the wider community to foster positive youth outcomes
- Experience and knowledge of current issues and emerging trends for young people and an understanding of the youth service system and related pathways for support.
- Skilled at engaging and working with stakeholder groups to maintain and build new relationships and potential partnerships/collaborations to enhance youth outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and work independently or as part of a broader team to achieve business unit and organisational goals.
