An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Social Worker, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, in the new position of Youth Justice Mental Health Clinician.
About the Role The Youth Justice Mental Health Clinician (YJMHC) is a specialist Senior Clinical role at Grampians Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (GMHWS) focused on enhancing the ability of young people within the Youth Justice (YJ) system to access appropriate and timely Mental Health services.

As a part of our expanding Forensic Team, you will have the knowledge, skills and experience to provide services including;
Specialist assessment, advice and consultation, particularly regarding young people in the YJ system who also may come into contact with GMHWS.
In-reach to YJ Offices across the Grampians Region, with activity including education and training to Mental Health and YJ staff.
Brief focused treatment or Mental Health care coordination to young people involved in YJ.
Be involved in activities across our broader Forensic Team to support a collaborative approach to our systems working with some of our most vulnerable people.

Selection Criteria
Essential : Do you hold qualifications in either Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing? Please provide evidence of thus
Essential : Please detail your minimum 5 years of experience post qualifying in a Mental Health setting.
