We currently seeking highly skilled Youth Workers in Orange and surrounding areas. ABOUT THE ROLE In this role you will be caring and mentorship to Children and Young People who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse and/or neglect and may also have a mental health, physical or psychosocial disability. Some of the tasks you will be involved in are: Assisting with daily routines, personal care and meals, completion of housekeeping tasks, recreational activities, homework supervision and assistance.Administering medicationTransporting the young people to and from school, day programs and appointments.Supporting the involvement of families, facilitating and supervising contact visitsMaintaining high quality record keeping and documentation Essential Criteria: Current Working with Children CheckCurrent NDIS Worker CheckCurrent First Aid and CPR CertificateNational Police Check (within 12 months)Valid full driver's licenceComprehensive Car InsuranceNDIS Worker Orientation ModuleFully vaccinated against COVID- 19Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Community Services, Youth WorkExperience with high challenging behavioursAbility to work a mixture of shifts including day, night, sleepovers and weekends If you are interested and looking for casual opportunities that offer flexibility and work life balance, please apply today here https://talentquarterapplications.entirehr.com.au/.
