About the Role
As a Zero Harm Advisor, you will ensure robust Zero Harm (health, safety and environment) systems and performance for the Newcastle / Hunter Region. This is a hybrid role consisting of working from our Hexham office supporting local projects and completing shutdown coverage for our clients in the region. This role would suit someone looking to gain a broad range of exposure to different projects and clients. Coach, mentor, provide support and consultation on thE Implementation of the Downer Standard at a project level. This includes injury management, incident reporting, and best practice Zero Harm Strategies.
About You
- Hold a minimum Cert IV WHS
- ExperiencE In injury management and return to work programs
- ICAM Investigator Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experiencE In Zero Harm (Safety) role
- Strong investigation skillset
- Willing to attend and support various sites as required by the business
- Willing to travel within the Hunter Valley Region
- Willing to work on shut down work for up to six months of the year
- Strong ability to prioritise work tasks and troubleshoot
- Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to inform, negotiate and influence at all levels
- A desire to work in, and build, an environment that promotes Zero Harm
