About the Role:
WorkPac are currently recruiting for an experienced Zero Harm Advisor on behalf of our client. This is an ideal role for a HSE professional with experience in the civil and construction industry. The successful candidate will be able to work under broad direction, independently and as part of a high performing team whilst demonstrating an understanding of HSE processes.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Facilitation of workshops, training sessions and toolbox meetings to present to various stakeholder groups.
Applying critical thinking and creativity to continuously improve current practices and propose innovations.
Effectively gathering and analysing information to problem solve.
Conducting audits and preparation of corrective actions and reports
Builds relationships to positively influence change and continuous improvement.
Taking on the views and input of others to effectively inform improvements required and areas of focus of our Zero Harm activities.
Applies mentoring and coaching skills to develop capability of operational personnel.
Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks concurrently.
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 2 yearsâ experience in a similar role
Knowledge of statutory provisions across relevant jurisdictions
Exposure to high-risk industries, preferably construction or infrastructure
Flexibility to work either day or night shifts as required.
Certificate IV in Health & Safety or relevant tertiary qualification.
Drivers Licence
White Card
Proficient with MS Suite
Proficient with Zero Harm Systems
