Zero Harm Lead

Job Description:The team & opportunity:Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS) is a Joint Venture between Downer and Ventia that has been awarded a 10-year contract to deliver water and wastewater repairs and maintenance services, renewals program works for the City of Gold Coast.We are seeking a Zero Harm Lead to join our dynamic team based at Arundel. You will play a pivotal role in our mission by guiding and mentoring a team of Zero Harm Advisors. As safety professionals, you will assist in the safe and efficient delivery of water and wastewater related projects across the Gold Coast.Our ideal candidate:You will cultivate exceptional leadership abilities, embrace collaboration, and maintain a positive outlook, all of which will allow you to effectively lead a team of Zero Harm Advisors.

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS/OHS or a related discipline.
• Cert IV Trainer & Assessor (desirable).
• Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within a collaborative partnership environment or utilities industry.
• Willingness to develop and influence the outlook on safety ensuring it is at the forefront of everyone's mind.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• A focus on process improvement and a commitment to promoting/driving a safety culture.
