An exciting opportunity has become available at the Central Highlands Regional Council for an experienced Facilities Cleaner to join the team in Emerald in a full-time capacity. In this role you will primarily work autonomously and be responsible for carrying out general cleaning duties as well as ordering and stock take of consumables for the Emerald Council Administration Building and Emerald facilities. This role will also provide assistance with the development of standard operating procedures for cleaning tasks.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- Minimum of QLD C Class Provisional Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated experience delivering cleaning or other similar operational functions
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety standards, requirements & documentation
- The ability to work efficiently and autonomously
- Meticulously attention to detail
- A friendly and positive nature to provide polite and courteous customer service
- Sound computer and technology skills.
