Eden Ritchie is seeking a Manager, Strategic Reporting to provide high level advice and leadership for the effective delivery of the Division’s responsibilities. Your primary role will be to assist in the management of projects and contribute to the effective delivery of policy solutions to complex issues facing the energy sector.
- 6 month contract with possible 3 month extension
- Brisbane CBD location
- Assist in coordinating information from within the Department and other internal and external (Queensland Government Owned Corporations, other Queensland Government departments, external consultants) stakeholders.
- Review and assess presentation and written materials relevant to major investment decisions
- Assist in the development of documentation to support the application of Departmental investment analysis frameworks to specific investments.
- Build, maintain and develop strong and effective relationships, work collaboratively and negotiate extensively with divisional staff and other areas of the department and external stakeholders as required to support positive policy, project and community outcomes.
- Lead, manage and develop clear communications for external stakeholders as part of maintaining stakeholder relationships and social licence for the projects.
- Prepare and deliver complex reports, submissions, briefing notes and other regulatory instruments, presentations, speeches, publications and correspondence.
- Contribute to a positive and effective team culture by playing a lead role in work area goal-setting, service improvement and other Unit and Divisional activities.
- Experience providing governance advice on large scale, complete program or project basis, preferably in the energy industry.
- Experience in communicating with internal and external stakeholders and building relationships to establish mutually beneficial connections.
- Ability to respond in a fast paced environment and deliver results.
- Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and customer and stakeholder expectations.
- Knowledge/experience of operation of the National Electricity Market (NEM) is highly desirable but not essential.
