Form of workWe are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Labourer our national branded retail team. As a Warehouse Labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse. Your main duties will include receiving, storing, and distributing products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Unload, sort, and store products in designated areas
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals
- Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
