Address The Role
We are located in Wetherill Park and looking for a self-motivated subcontractor who is fit, reliable, can work unsupervised and is seeking long term opportunities.
This role will be varied, exciting and challenging as you perform temporary hoarding installations for our ever-growing customer base primarily in the commercial construction space.
We can offer consistent work opportunities and on the job training to the successful applicant.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Liaising with Project Managers on sites
• Completing all required Site Inductions
• Installing temporary hoardings in accordance with Drawings and Customer requirements
• Managing your team on site
• Liaising with 1300HOARDING management and administration to achieve best outcomes
• Liaising with transport operators on site
• Reporting all issues regarding damage, equipment or other aspects that affect the business
To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills:
• White Card (essential)
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking nature
• Ability to work effectively without supervision
• High level of attentional to detail
• A willingness to learn and develop your skillset
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative approach to getting the job done
• Provide excellent customer service
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Carpentry/handyman skills (desirable)
• Understanding of OH&S requirements on Commercial Construction Sites
• Own Ute or Van
• Own tools, cordless drills, saws etc
• Forklift Licence (essential or willing to obtain)
• Access to and ability to employ your own labour force
