Form of workSeeking a bright & bubbly individual to join our growing team as a 1st Year apprentice in our cosy Austinmer Hair Salon.
Tasks & responsibilities as a 1st Year apprentice will be to assist & support the senior hairdressers while learning the ropes & being taught new skills in the hair industry. Requirements will be to shampoo, rinse & tone at the basin area, clean & tidy the salon, make tea, coffee & greet clients when entering the salon. You will be shown how to use our point of sale to check out, rebook & help any clients with future appointments, as well as how to make appointments & help clients over the phone.
As we are only open during the week, no Saturdays will be required however you will need to be available in the evenings as we are open till 8pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Experience is not necessary however any prior experience will be taken into consideration.
About us, we are a small friendly team who work closely together in the salon. We all believe in getting in & working together as a team to make sure the day runs smoothly & everyone feels supported in the salon. We are flexible & try to accommodate everyone’s needs in the salon.
