Automotive Group Training (AGT) are looking for a highly motivated individual to start their career as a Light Vehicle Mechanic in the Automotive Industry.
LOCATION - FIVE DOCK
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Servicing vehicles
- Test, repair and replace broken or defective vehicle parts
- Use and support tools and equipment specific to light vehicles
- Assist mechanics when necessary
- Repair and replace tyres
- Follow the safe working practice
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop
- General Cleaning duties
Let’s talk about the role
You will be supported by qualified tradespeople in a small team, gaining practical experience working on-site with our automotive partner, whilst completing a formal qualification in Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. You will learn to complete a variety of tasks from logbook servicing, to major transmission and engine overhauls on a broad range of vehicles.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Current Driver's Licence
- Be willing to obtain required PPE (Boots, Glasses, and Vest)
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be willing to undertake and work towards completing training in the relevant formal qualification
