William Buck's growth in the software technology and advanced manufacturing space has created an exciting opportunity for a Senior / Supervisor to join our growing R & D team.Our clients are innovators and disruptors in the cutting-edge areas of Software-As-A-Service, Machine Learning/AI, Internet-of-Things, data, mobile applications and robotics. Their ability to disrupt the status-quo and build new industry-transforming technologies depends on receiving savvy, quality advice on their R&D tax incentive claims and other government grants.
A bit about you:We are looking for experienced
Supervisor / Manager who is degree qualified in the field of Science, Engineering or Accounting and has previous experience within a professional services or boutique R&D advisory firm.You will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills as well as an ability to devise strategies and plan ahead.In this role, you will be an important member of a team that prides itself as a “one-stop shop” for professional advice to software and hardware technology companies.
You will have the opportunity to:- Conduct project scoping interviews to identify eligible R&D projects;
- Prepare R&D Tax Incentive applications and eligible expenditure calculations;
- Advise on strategies to optimise eligibility and maximise R&D Tax Incentive claims under the current regulatory environment;
- Advise on documentation requirements and establish documentation procedures within existing client systems;
- Work directly with clients' technical and finance staff;
- Stay on top of legislative developments and case law; and
- Contribute to business development initiatives including writing online articles and attending industry events.
