AddressWe are looking for someone to work with us for 2 daysa week, to help look after a property in Tamarama.
Ideally working Monday and Friday, 7:30am -4:00pm, but we are open to flexibility.
This would suit someone who is looking for a 2nd job or studying or wanting to scale back their work hours.
This role will be primarily looking after the exterior of the property, ensuring it is well maintained and continuously checked. Someone who works well by themselves, is determined to complete tasks and is autonomous, is highly desired.
You will undertake ‘general maintenance’ such as sweeping/ blowing pathways, cleaning windows, washing cars, ensuring outdoor furniture is maintained and check the water balance in the pool.
Occasionally undertake ‘deep cleaning’ of areas, which includes basic cleaning duties, by using a water pressure cleaner to clean hard surfaces, unblocking drains, de-cobwebbing awnings, clearing gutters etc- a person not afraid to get their ‘hands dirty’!
Routine maintenance of equipment will be required, such as backflushing pool filters, washing Air Con filters, arranging servicing of cars etc
Contacting and supervising trades / contractors will also be required.
We are looking for a team player who, on occasion, will be asked to assist the housekeeping team as well as undertake other odd jobs such as delivering items and moving furniture.
Although most of these tasks can be learnt ‘on the job’, someone with direct experience in a past role with be highly regarded. So too will a candidate with handyperson / maintenance skills or knowledge of a trade. As well as someone one who has a very good understanding of safety and Work Health Safety.
This role can be physically demanding and requires a person who is aware of this.
A valid drivers licence is a benefit.
We will undertake a National Police check , Working With Children check and Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
The candidate should have unrestricted working rights .
