2 Person Team - Team Leader + Procurement & Stock Control Officer

Pilbara Mitre10, are seeking an enthusiastic couple (2 Persons) interested in joining our hardware team in the middle of the Karijini.

The Job: 

Position 1 – Team Leader 

 A diverse position that incorporates all aspects of our services. The role is varied and physical across all areas of Pilbara Mitre10.

• Oversee Floor Staff to ensure correct procedures are being undertaken;
• Oversee Floor Staff to answer queries;
• Oversee Floor Staff in training of product locations and maintaining clean and tidy workspace at all counters;
• Take head role in customer service enquiries;
• Working alongside your team in providing exceptional in-store customer experience through a strong leadership of service
• Opening store for business and securing at COB
• Liaise with Floor Staff to ensure directions from Management are being undertaken;
• Allocate and Co-ordinate Junior Staff to undertake daily worklists, safely and properly;

Position 2 – Procurement & Stock Control Officer

A diverse position that incorporates all aspects of our services. The role is varied and physical across all areas of Pilbara Mitre10.

• Stock Purchasing & Receiving, Customer Orders & Warranties,
• Maintain high standard of store, nursery, yard cleanliness and presentation;
• Stock merchandising, rotation and presentation inclusive of visual merchandising and displays;
• Undertake Weekly checking of outstanding Customer Order report including picking and calling customers;
• Maintain stock levels and order points
• Maintain pricing
• Additional duties as directed by the General Manager.

To be considered you will have:

• A team of 2 experienced persons
• Good computer skills, Excellent communication skills written, verbal and interpersonal;
• Ability to adhere to Policies, Procedures and OH&S standards;
• Western Australian Drivers Licence;
• Western Australian Forklift Licence or prepared to obtain;
• National Police Clearance, clear drug and alcohol test;
• Good time management, ability to prioritize, multi-task, work to deadlines;
• Strong skills in people management and customer engagement;
• Be comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment;
• A strong retail sales background (hardware retail or trade ideally but not essential)
• An eye for detail and accuracy;
• Responsibility, reliability and trustworthiness;
