SalaryJack & Jill Childcare Centre is seeking a kind and compassionate person to join our small team of Educators. Our service is looking for a fun spirited, enthusiastic educator to assist in providing high quality care for children. An applicant would hold the necessary skills and qualifications relevant to the field of childcare and be willing to obtain and learn any further skills required within the job.
Our Centre is a family owned and operated service located adjacent to the beautiful New Farm Park. We are a small service that caters for children from 15 months to school age within 3 rooms. The Centre has 2 large leafy green playgrounds that have ample space for the children to roam and explore. New Farm is located next to the city and is accessible by ferry or bus. We have free on street parking available as well.
A successful applicant would hold a Certificate III and/or hold or be studying towards a Diploma in Children's Service, Full First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check. The applicant would have previously worked in a Childcare Centre for a minimum of one year and have a sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQF. The applicant would portray the enthusiasm and drive to work with children, and the passion to encourage the growth of all children throughout the service whilst having the ability to work in a team and strive alongside your colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for our service.
An applicant would need the flexibility to work a 30 - 38 hour week 6:45am – 6:00pm on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday. The position is a permanent part time position. We are flexible and can work alongside your prior commitments if we can.
