2025 Training Year - Nuclear Medicine Registrar
- Core training position, AANMS training program
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Imaging team. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term position, working 86 hours per fortnight, based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Parkville Campus.
About the role:
The training program is overseen by the Joint Specialist Advisory Committee (JSAC) in Nuclear Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).
- Assist in performing diagnostic investigations and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an ANNMS accredited Nuclear Medicine Specialist.
- Reporting of studies, under supervision.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary staff of the DNM.
- With experience, participate in the after-hours ‘on call’ roster.
- Perform medical interventions and procedures in accordance with Melbourne Health policy and procedures.
- Use radiation protection protocols appropriate to Nuclear Medicine for patients, staff and the general public.
- Other tasks as outlined in the position description.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Approved participant in the AANMS Advanced Trainee Program
- Ability to work in a team
