AddressOneFortyOne is a forestry and sawmill business. We operate throughout the Green Triangle region of Australia and the Nelson, Tasman, and Marlborough regions of New Zealand (Top of the South). We manage over 160,000 hectares (ha) of land including pine plantation and conservation areas, and plant over six million seedlings every year, renewably replacing the trees that we harvest.

We are looking for a Scholarship Forester and a Graduate Forester to join the Green Triangle Forests team in Mount Gambier, commencing in late 2024 or early 2025 Scholarship Forester.
Scholarship Forester
The OneFortyOne Scholarship Program provides valuable vocational development, paid employment and financial support throughout your degree. This is a great opportunity to complete a degree (HECS free) and be paid while developing on-job experience and skills. On completion of your degree you will be provided with ongoing employment as a graduate for 2 years. Our Scholarship program is a proven career pathway program into forestry that will support you to establish a career within forestry.
The program is open to students who are preparing to study or are currently studying a variety of degrees, including Science (Forestry), Environmental Science, Resource Management or Applied Geographical Information Systems.
We cover your tuition fees and offer part time employment while you study full time, with the goal being to complete your course within three years. Additional paid vocation work is also available during study breaks. At the completion of the scholarship, you will automatically enter the OneFortyOne graduate program.
Graduate Forester
Graduates complete a two-year structured program designed to help start your career on a strong footing as a forestry future leader and / or technical specialist.
The graduate program is open to anyone who has a degree that is relevant to a forester role. You can enter the program with or without the completion of a OneFortyOne scholarship. We will consider applicants who have been in the workforce for up to 5 years.
Our graduates gain valuable experience that provides a sound start to their career. We are proud of the support we provide to develop future technical specialists and leaders for our Industry.
