About the Surgical Program
The Surgical Program at Monash Health is a large, diverse Program with planned and unplanned admissions across 7 sites. We are accredited for training in all nine RACS specialties
Accredited for training in all nine Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) specialties
Provides training opportunities in all surgical specialties from pre-vocational through to post Fellowship
Provides surgical care to patients at every life stage across 7 sites (Monash Medical Centre Clayton and Moorabbin, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Monash Children’s, Cranbourne and the Victorian Heart Hospital).

4 x 13 week rotations
Rotations aligned with your surgical career aspirations (subject to availability)
Pre-vocational supervisors
Flexible annual leave blocks - 3 week /2 weeks or 5 weeks

About You:
Eligible for full registration with AHPRA – minimum Level 2 supervision
Have a minimum 2yrs recent clinical experience (PGY3+2025)
You are a positive, committed and inspiring medical professional
Dedicated to delivering exceptional care and outstanding outcomes for our patients
You can demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and effective time management
You have evidence of interest in academic pursuits including research
You have evidence of ability to work in a team and show leadership potential
Hold a current national police check and Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
