2IC Horticulture

As a 2IC, you'll play a vital role in creating and maintaining the vibrant green spaces. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you'll be at the forefront of preserving the beauty and health of our Sites Green Spaces.

• Cultivate and maintain green spaces. 
• Implement horticultural best practices for plant care. 
• Collaborate with the Site Manager to enhance campus aesthetics. 
• Conduct regular assessments of plant health and landscape conditions. 
• Provide recommendations for landscaping improvements. 
• Contribute to the overall environmental sustainability of the grounds. 

• Access prerequisite training to excel in your role. 
• Enjoy a supplied uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE). 
• Engage in social events fostering team camaraderie. 
• Thrive in a supportive management team and fantastic team culture.

• Certificate III Parks & Gardens or equivalent industry experience. 
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train staff.
• A valid driver's license.
• Valid White Card and WWCC or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in turf maintenance and irrigation is highly desirable.
• Effective communication skills
