About the opportunity
Located in Hobart, Tasmania you will join a local Tasmanian business who provide quality innovative and cost effective engineering services for commercial, institutional and residential building projects throughout the State. This role within the drafting group will work closely with the structural, civil and hydraulic engineers to deliver the documentation of building projects through all stages and project scales, from residential houses to the largest and most complex building structures in Tasmania.
About you
This role will be ideal for someone with extensive experience and a keen interest in design software and construction related technology with a sound knowledge of Revit and solid experience working as a structural drafter, BIM consultant or as a technician in a related field. Alternatively you may have a strong drive to learn Revit and BIM related processes and tools.
To further support your success in this role you will have experience in surveying, point cloud scanning and analysis and the ability to deliver structural documentation and various innovative BIM services competitively and to the highest standards.
To be considered for this position you must have experience in the following:

• BIM Management and coordination of multi-disciplinary projects using BIM360/Navisworks
• Point cloud scanning with "NavVis VLX" and Scan to BIM
• UAV/Drone surveying and processing of photogrammetry
• Implementation of model-based processes on construction sites
• Training of project partners in the application of BIM
