The client is a highly skilled and experienced team of modellers and technicians who deliver structural documentation and various innovative BIM services competitively and to the highest standards. They offer a diverse range of additional services, which are offered as part of our BIM Consulting & 3D Mapping business, including:
- BIM Management and coordination of multi-discipline projects using BIM360/Navisworks
- Point cloud scanning with “NavVis VLX” and Scan for BIM
- UAV/Drone surveying and processing of photogrammetry
- Implementing of model-based processes on construction sites
- Training of project partners in the application of BIM
Your new role
We are looking for a new team member in Hobart with a keen interest in designing software and construction related technology, and a strong drive to learn Revit and BIM-related processes and tools. The successful candidate will be part of our drafting/modelling team, which works closely with our structural, civil and hydraulic engineers to deliver the documentation of building projects throughout all stages and project scales– from residential houses to the largest and most complex building structures in Tasmania.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Sound Revit knowledge and solid experience working as a structural drafter, BIM consultant, or as a technician in a related field. OR:
- Experience in surveying, point cloud scanning and analysis.
