We have a great opportunity for a committed 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice to complete a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and be part of our team based at our North Lakes office. Reporting into the QLD Manager you will be working alongside an experienced team of Service Technicians.
What will I be doing:
- Learn how to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, test and maintain a diverse range of air conditioning systems including domestic and commercial air conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation systems and water heating and cooling systems.
- Reading and interpreting plans for installation of new systems and servicing of existing systems
- Learning about refrigerated systems that cool and heat water and air
- Reading and interpreting plans
- Commissioning of systems including testing and balancing of air and water distribution
- Follow WHS procedures and maintain a safe and clean working environment
About You:
- Currently undertaking an apprenticeship
- Drivers Licence and own transport
- White Card
- Must enjoy working outdoors
- Physically fit and able to complete manual tasks
- Be willing to travel to worksites
- Able to work in a team environment
- Punctual and reliable
- Willingness to learn and commit to completing an apprenticeship
- Excellent communication skills
