HunterNet Career Connections are seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our host company in Kangy Angy. Working with our host company UGL, we are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic who is interested in completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrical.

As an Apprentice your duties may include:
- Participate in electrical work and competency development activities
- Analysing work orders to determine information such as material to be used and sequence of operations required to complete the job
- Ensure all work performed to specification and to a high-quality standard
- Actively listen and effectively communicate with the Operations Team
- Ensure all tools and machinery are effectively maintained and secure
- Comply with all timekeeping requirements including timesheets
- Always follow and apply all safe working procedures and practices
- Report all matters and issues to Management in a timely manner
- Adheres to all Company policies and procedures
- Commitment to attending and completing all requirements of RTO in Electrotechnology – Electrical Trade
What we’re looking for:
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Commitment to attending and completing all requirements of TAFE
