Form of workDeloraine Painting Services are currently looking for a 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Painter to join us.
If you have an eye for detail and design, and like a job that offers visual satisfaction.
Working with a qualified and skilled painter you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and the support to finish your apprenticeship in a professional environment.
Duties will involve:
- Carry out measurements and calculations.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Erect and maintain trestle and plank systems.
- Handle painting and decorating materials.
- Use painting and decorating tools and equipment.
- Remove and replace doors and door and window components.
- Prepare surfaces for painting.
- Apply paint by brush and roller.
- Apply texture coat paint finishes by brush, roller, and spray.
The successful candidate will:
- White Card, as well as extensive experience
- Reliable and hard working.
- Motivated with a genuine interest in the industry.
- Be trustworthy and reliable.
- Driver's licence.
