Job Details
Under general direction, and in collaboration with the team, undertake the following duties:
- Undertake collection activities relevant to projects, including accessioning, acquisitions, research tasks, collection handling activities.
- With curatorial rigour, assist to coordinate tasks related to project outcomes including managing digitisation and conservation requirements in collaboration with internal teams
- Contribute to the curation, interpretation and presentation of the collection across multiple projects and undertake administrative tasks across databases, applications, and delivery platforms.
- Maintain internal stakeholder and external relationships

- Demonstrated skills and experience working with audiovisual collection, including collection handling experience, and knowledge of, Australia’s audiovisual industries that complement the delivery of projects.
- Proven knowledge and experience of working with archival, collections and/or audiovisual media
- Demonstrated experience in actively contributing to innovative creative projects with an ability to multitask on a range of projects and apply strong administrative skills
- Demonstrated experience working closely with internal and/or external stakeholders with confident and clear communication skills
Qualifications and/or equivalent experience required:
- Relevant experience in a collecting institution and/or audio-visual industry is desirable. Library, Archive or Museum qualifications and/or other relevant tertiary studies are desirable.
