A Grade Electrical Controls Technician - Manufacturing

• Full time, Permanent Position
• Must be PR OR Citizen
• Day Shift - 7/7:30AM-3/3:30PM
• $60-65p/h+ super + Over Time
• Weekend work required, as and when @ OT Rates

We're looking to hire a permanent Control Systems Electrician/Engineer on behalf of our Client, a successful, well known, food manufacturing company. Due to the nature of the role, a background in food manufacturing maintenance or similar is essential. The company produces arrange of supermarket sold small goods and have high standards in the quality of their products and stuff.
The role
The role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from automation project work and upgrades to general maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of Plant Equipment.
• System upgrades and modifications, SCADA modifications, Electrical control Panels
• Some PLC Programming and modification - Allan Bradly
• Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance. Diagnostics and fault finding.
• Identifying and resolving equipment reliability and improvement opportunities Assessing and prioritising breakdown service requirements
• Process improvement of plant and equipment.
• Provide technical support to the production team.
• Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines.

Experience:

• A-GRADE Electrical Licence
• 4 years experience in Manufacturing Maintenance or Project Work
• Strong level of fault finding skills
• PLC & HMI programming (Allen Bradley preferred)
• Ability to resolve issues on HMI and Scada systems
• Experience with AC and DC motors and controls including Variable Speed Drives and Servo's
• Understanding of the Machine guarding and Electrical Safety Standards & Regulations. (i.e. AS 60204.1 AS4024)
