About the role:
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about our core values to join our team. Our company places a high priority on safety, teamwork, quality, customer service, respect, and employee wellbeing.
This role has a strong focus on day-to-day operational works with possible management of fellow site electricians and apprentices as well as client liaison and supplier & subcontractor co-operation. You will ensure compliance with company policies, safe work practices and statutory requirements and manage and comply with HSE requirements and incident reporting as necessary.
To be successful in this role it is essential to:

5. Have excellent English verbal & written communication skills.
6. Possess a current electrical license in your nominated state or territory with a strong knowledge of all electrical systems, equipment.
7. Be committed to all aspects of Safety.
8. Possess a current Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) Registration or Open Cablers Registration (not mandatory, but preferred)
9. Possess a valid driver’s licence – (manual experience as preferred)
10. Possess an EWP license for above and below 11mts (not essential, but preferred)
11. Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer programs.
12. Be a permanent Australian resident and reside in the metropolitan area.
13. Demonstrate commercial awareness of contractual obligations.
14. Have a good understanding of apprentice supervision requirements.
15. Demonstrate a sound understanding of checking and testing requirements, AS/NZS 3000:2018 Wiring Rules and relevant state SIR (service installation requirements)

We do work hard and with so much growth and ongoing jobs, we rarely sit still. For this role you will be expected to work overtime from time to time when needed which is remunerated accordingly.
This position may require the successful applicant to be available to work away from home, as well as be part of an on-call roster for key customers from time to time when needed.
