We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team on a FIFO 2/1 basis, working on the prestigious SKAO (Square Kilometre Array Observatory) Infra 1 Project.

Roster 2 weeks on, 1 week off (FIFO 2/1) from Perth

The Role:
As a Leading Hand Electrician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on-site for the SKAO Infra 1 Project. Your responsibilities will include supervising a team of electricians, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and liaising with project managers to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical activities on-site for the SKAO Infra 1 Project
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the electrical team
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards specific to the SKAO project
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives within the SKAO project framework
- Assist with the planning and scheduling of electrical tasks according to SKAO project timelines
Requirements:
- WA Electrical Licence
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or mining industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety and quality assurance, adhering to SKAO project-specific safety protocols
- National Police Clearance (clean)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol screening
- Valid WA driver's license – C class
