A Grade Electrician/Technician with Industrial Controls Experience (Start date April 2024)
The Person
We are expanding our team and seeking applications from suitably qualified Electricians (A Grade Australian) or Engineers with or willing to obtain a restricted electrical license, who have a high degree of self-motivation, and are ready for a role that will extend their ability.
Start date - June / July 2024 for the right candidate
Qualifications, Skills and experience
- Current Electrical A grade (Australian) or equivalent license
- Must have knowledge / experience in PLC wiring of control panels and assembly
- PLC Logic / IO troubleshooting experience
- General electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs on manufacturing lines
- Understanding and working with safety systems and standards, Omron Pilz etc
- Be confident in reading and understanding of electrical circuit drawings
- Maintenance of electrical controls of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Use of JSA (Job Safety Analysis) while completing work to safety requirements
- Ability to work unsupervised and be hands-on
- A team player with a positive, self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential
- Forklift license (Desirable)
- Refrigeration License (Desirable but not required)
Duties will include but are not limited to
- Installation and fault finding on high speed injection moulding machines and robotic automation and ancillary equipment
- Troubleshooting is critical to the role, working on a range of specialized equipment
- Maintenance of equipment
- Wiring and testing of equipment
- Strong ability to use both hand tools and power tools
- Assistance onsite with technicians / machine operators
- Demonstrate your capability to work unsupervised and to deliver high quality of work
- Willingness to evolve, learn and grow
