About Our Client:
Our client is located in Winnellie. We are currently recruiting an A Grade Electrician. Ongoing Day Shift Monday to Friday (Finish early Fridays)
About the Role:
- Ongoing work – Monday to Friday, with the view to permanency
- Day Shift - 7am starts – 38 hour week
- $55 per hour
- Work vehicle provided during work hours
- Will be required on occasions to work on remote area installation
- May be required to attend after-hours call outs. (Company vehicle and call out rates apply)
- Comply with company OHS&E policies and attend OFI (toolbox) meetings when scheduled. These are normally held monthly.
- Install and repair of electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following Australian Standards, manuals, schematic diagrams, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
- Will be required to attend on-site service calls and on-site installation of company promoted products (Generators, Lightning Protection, UPS, Solar Power etc.)
- Follow all directives and procedures that may be given to you, either verbally or in writing in a timely fashion.
- Fill in time sheets and complete all task reporting requirements on all finished jobs.
- Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures, Employment Contract, Non- Disclosure Agreement and Letter of Offer.
- Perform all other duties as directed by the company
To be successful for this role you will need the following:
- Northern Territory “A” Grade electrical license.
- Driver’s license.
- First Aid / CPR / LVR Certificate.
- Provide a Current Safe NT Ochre Card
Be technically familiar with Installation and Maintenance of the following but not limited to:
- Generators
- Renewable Energy Systems
- Low voltage systems
- Lightning Protection Systems & Installation
- Earthing design & installation
- UPS design & installation
- Compressed air systems
