Job description

It appears our ad title piqued your interest.  Please read on to learn more about brand-new roles within our team...

1. ABOUT YOU

2. ABOUT NALA HUB

3. DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLE

4. OUR TEAM’S TAKE ON NALA HUB

ABOUT YOU

You may use some (or all) of the following words to describe yourself:

Courageous, Skilled, Open, Compassionate, Insightful, Caring, Acts with Integrity, Hard Working, Empowering, Determined, Persistent, Equitable, Goal-focused, and Immersed in the Psychology industry.

You have an interest in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and/or families.

You are excited to grow your professional practice, within our supportive Hub, so that you can experience the freedom and flexibility that business ownership is all about.

You would like most of the administrative side of the job taken care of for you by a cohesive and diligent administration team led by an incredible Practice Manager (yes please!!)

You thrive off working in a supportive team that has each other’s backs, and with leaders that actively support and prioritise your wellbeing. You also wouldn’t mind a cute ruby Cavoodle around who is trained as a therapy dog.

ABOUT NALA HUB

At Nala Hub we have flipped the traditional private practice model to allow you to blossom professionally and prosper in business. This means we are a service provider to your business. Our model allows you to have more autonomy over the way that work, the types of clients that you love to work with along with expanding your professional network, while having the full support of the Nala Hub team.

Nala Hub is a growing league of psychologists, here to change the lives of people for the better. We believe that everybody has what it takes to live a healthy, fulfilling and connected life, they just need the tools and the support to make it a reality. This takes work, and we know this work is necessary, so we are here to be a source of hope and inspiration for our local communities and beyond.

Here at Nala, we provide a safe and supportive place for our clients and our team. We work in alignment with our collective set of values, evidence-based framework of psychology, and we love to celebrate psychologists who use outside of the box thinking. That can work holistically and creatively to support clients to feel empowered to make courageous changes in their lives.

Nala Hub is here to be a game changer.  We are an organisation that is not afraid to get to the heart of it all. A team that inspires hope for those who need it the most. We are now looking for like-minded psychologists who are excited to use their unique skills to positively impact the lives of others; and that we can support in return.

NOW FOR THOSE DETAILS ABOUT THE ROLES…

We are currently looking for registered or clinical psychologists with at least 2 years’ experience.

  • Ability to work beyond the medicalised lens
  • Have demonstrated a commitment to individuals and families that are seeking to better understand themselves, their relationships and life pursuits.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Desire to contribute to the Nala's culture and support fellow peers

OUR TEAM’S TAKE ON NALA HUB

Joining the team at Nala is one of the best decisions I have made in years. I feel that my ideas and contributions are valued, and I feel supported as an employee and as an individual. The team at Nala are fun and vibrant, but also absolutely dedicated in their pursuit of outcomes for their clients and the contribution they make to the local community.

-Andrea

Nala Hub is an incredibly supportive workplace and team which is well worth travelling for! It has been fantastic to learn so much from colleagues and to feel comfortable going out on a limb and being willing to stumble knowing that the team is there to catch you if you fall.  Everyone on the team demonstrates tremendous generosity of time and spirit.

-Stephanie

Working at Nala has been one of the best choices I ever made. The location is great; the rooms are spacious and suitable for young clients and adults. At Nala, the admin staff is so helpful that it facilitates Psychologists focusing only on clients. Michelle has a nurturing and supportive leadership style always ready to lend you a hand with active listening and emotional support skills.

-Karina

Nala has a great team culture that extends beyond the clinic where everyone is encouraged to collaborate, learn and have fun! It's great feeling a constant sense of support from the admin team and leadership.

-Samantha

I love working at Nala Hub. The team here are so supportive and create such a nice environment to work in. Lunch times together are always lovely and supervision sessions are not only helpful but allow everyone to get together and stay connected. The office space is beautiful, and it makes working at Nala even more of a dream!

-Edwina

I've loved my time working at Nala so far. It's been a great place to work with all the benefits of flexibility and independence, as well as the support and care that comes from being part of the Nala team.

-Elizabeth

My favourite things in the world are belly rubs, long eye gazes, and chasing balls. Like your average pooch, I have some room for improvement and my professional development plan includes maintaining personal space, sitting patiently for pats, and leaving non-doggy snacks alone. Luckily, the team loves me for me, and I can’t imagine a better job in the world than my role as therapy dog at Nala Hub
